Parties can be held at either the Whimsical Characters store (Brantford, Ontario) or in the client’s home/favourite venue

Yes!! Whimsical Characters can bring the party to YOU!! We will bring the same amazing in-store party right to your home or chosen venue. This includes parties in Brantford, Brant County, Cambridge & Hamilton/Ancaster/Stoney Creek. A small transportation fee will be added for parties outside of these areas.

Parties can be booked for any day of the week (Mon to Sun) excluding stat holidays. The start time of the party depends on availability and season. Email Whimsical Characters at for more details (info@whimsicalcharacters.com)

As availability tends to fill up quickly, our recommended booking window is at least three (3) weeks prior to your event date.  We're happy to work with you, should you need to book a closer date.

The price of the party is all-inclusive which means all you have to do is sit back and let Whimsical Characters do the rest. The price includes invitations and all materials needed to create sugar art masterpieces during the event. In addition, each guest will receive an amazing Whimsical Characters goody bag to take home with them.

Both the deposit/retainer and the balance can be paid either by either credit card, PayPal or eTransfer.  Cash or cheques are not accepted. Contact Whimsical Characters for more details.

For parties with children 8 years old and under, it is recommended that at least 2 - 3 adults participate to help the kids during the activities. We have found that parents enjoy helping the children with the creative tasks by sharing in the fun.

By participating in an event hosted by Whimsical Characters, you consent and authorize Whimsical Characters to use your image and likeness in photo's, video or other digital media for Whimsical Characters publications.  All photo's videos and digital media captured by Whimsical Characters staff, belongs solely to Whimsical Characters. If there are concerns, please discuss this with Whimsical Characters before the event. During an event hosted by Whimsical Characters, guests will be allowed to take photo's, however, no video or digital recording of the processes are permitted.

While we typically don't work with any nut-based ingredients, it should be noted that some ingredients used may be cross-contaminated upon manufacturing.  If any guests should have specific allergies, please let us know at the time of booking.

No.  At Whimsical Characters, there are no additional charges applied for gratuities.

Yes!!  We strongly believe in giving back to our community to make it a better place.  Here at Whimsical Characters, a donation from every party booked will be given to the Stedman Hospice and a local animal rescue.

If someone in your party has a specific dietary requirement, they can bring their own cupcakes and/or frosting. These can be home made or purchased from a specialized bakery.
